Our coach‑led fitness classes at The Meta Movement are designed to help you get stronger, fitter and more confident in a focused, supportive environment. Every session is programmed by experienced coaches and delivered in our private barn gym at Holmsted Farm in Cuckfield, just outside Haywards Heath.

Whether you’re just getting back into training, looking to build serious strength, or preparing for your next Hyrox event, there’s a class to suit your goals and your current level. Class sizes are kept small so you get real coaching, not just a spot in a crowded studio.


We welcome members from Cuckfield, Haywards Heath, Lindfield and the surrounding villages. All classes are suitable for most levels, with options to scale movements up or down depending on your experience.

META LIFT

Meta Lift is our strength‑focused class, built around the key lifts that make you stronger in and out of the gym. Expect squats, deadlifts, presses and accessory work using barbells, dumbbells and strongman kit, coached with a big emphasis on technique.


This class is ideal if you want to build muscle, improve your lifting form and feel more confident with weight training. All sessions are scalable, so both beginners and experienced lifters can train side by side at the right level.

META MODE

Meta Mode is a high‑energy conditioning class that blends strength, cardio and functional movements into one powerful session. You’ll use a mix of free weights, bodyweight, machines and conditioning tools to push your fitness without getting bored.


Sessions are designed to improve work capacity, burn calories and leave you feeling accomplished, not destroyed. Great for anyone who wants a tough but coach‑led workout that can be adapted for different fitness levels.

META
STRENGTH

Meta Strength combines traditional strength training with functional movements to build a strong, resilient body. You’ll work through structured blocks focusing on key movement patterns, time under tension and progressive overload.


This class is perfect if you want to feel stronger, move better and support your performance in other sports, Hyrox or everyday life. Coaching focuses on quality reps, safe progressions and building strength that actually carries over to the real world.

META HYBRID

Meta Hybrid blends strength and conditioning into one session, giving you the best of both worlds. Expect a mix of lifting, functional movements and conditioning pieces that challenge your engine and your muscles in the same hour.


It’s a great choice if you want to improve overall fitness, build strength and keep your training varied. Sessions are carefully programmed so you’re pushed, but not smashed, with options to scale for different abilities.

HYROX

Our Hyrox class is dedicated race‑style training using competition‑inspired workouts and equipment. You’ll rotate through running, sled pushes and pulls, ski erg, rower, lunges, wall balls and more, in formats that closely mirror race day.

This class is ideal for anyone training for their first Hyrox or looking to improve their time. We coach pacing, technique and strategy, and offer scaled options so you can build confidence with the movements before you hit the event floor.

META BOXFIT

Meta Boxfit is a boxing‑inspired fitness class that combines pad work, boxing drills and conditioning for a full‑body workout. You’ll learn basic boxing technique while working through rounds that challenge your cardio, coordination and core.
 

No previous boxing experience is needed. It’s a fun, high‑energy way to improve fitness, relieve stress and build confidence, with all contact limited to pads and bags.

BOOTCAMP

Bootcamp takes your training outdoors (weather permitting) for a mix of bodyweight, conditioning and functional strength work. Expect circuits, partner drills and team‑style workouts that keep things varied and engaging.


This class is great if you enjoy training in a group environment and want a tough but inclusive session. All exercises can be scaled, making Bootcamp suitable for a wide range of fitness levels.
